Long Loads

Magaziner can facilitate long loads in conjunction with an extended head centre carriage (the distance from the cabin to the middle of the forks), alternatively where heavier loads are involved we can offer a heavy cabin mast that is braced back against the cabin's overhead guard.

The Magaziner long load solution has been successfully utilised in conjunction with palletised loads with significant load overhang, stillages for all manner of warehouse operation, in addition to unusually wide or extended load lengths

Modern Tyres

Modern Tyres are a Tyre Distributor based in Newry, Co. Down. In an effort to maximise the productive storage capacity of their new purpose-built warehouse in Newry. In an effort to optimise the storage different tyres sizes the company had decided to utilise a standard sized stillage (1250mm(W) x 2395mm(L)) which would be placed into a bespoke racking system supplied by Allied Ireland.

The nature of the range of tyres that the company stocks meant that, in some cases, bigger tyres would present an overhang outside the footprint of the stillage (this ultimately becomes the 'pallet/stillage' size from a load dynamics perspective).

Traditionally, the company had been in habit of operating reach trucks to handle their load handling requirements. On this occasion they were impressed by our attention to detail and willingness to design the right solution for them. After significant analysis of Modern Tyres requirements and consultation with Magaziner in Germany, we developed a bespoke EK2000 VNA solution allowing the company to successfully operate a man up VNA solution in conjunction with long loads. The order was placed, the truck delivered and we have another happy customer who is already talking about an additional machine.
