Bespoke Order Pickers - EZ Living Interiors
Back in 2018, our sales team noticed that EZ Living Interiors, a family owned and operated Furniture & Accessories Company, had submitted a planning application for a new distribution centre in Little Island, Co. Cork.
Initial contact was made and site visits were subsequently arranged to introduce the Magaziner product to the company's senior management team. Over the course of this period we also teased out exactly how a bespoke Magaziner order picking solution could best meet EZ Living Interiors operational requirements.
EZ Living had previous experience with alternative order picking equipment, over the course of this relationship, they felt that general upkeep, maintenance and servicing costs had been excessive. Prior to delivery of their first Magaziner, we guaranteed an initial fixed price service and support solution to give ensure transparency and predictability in terms of cost certainty.
EZ Living now operate 8 extended platform order pickers across their distribution sites. Recent expansion of their retail store network has necessitated the development of plans for an additional D.C.. We look forward to continuing our supply, service and maintenance partnership with the company as these plans come to fruition over the coming period.
